Uni of South Wales success in Vietnam

Kat from our office in HCMC coordinated a visit in October by Tom Hill from the University of South Wales (UK). Events included advising students at the British Council Exhibition, a presentation to students at the Open University in HCMC, and a seminar/workshop for students on ‘How to Write a Personal Statement’.

Uni South Wales is already popular with Vietnamese students, and this recent activity will ensure that numbers increase next year.

Europe tour 2018

Off tomorrow for a quick tour of Europe, visiting International Schools to promote Keele University. More tomorrow…

Sunday 8 April: London to Copenhagen:

A short trip with British Airways, considerably enhanced by the use of the Business Lounge – free food and drinks – well done BA!

This event involves visiting a number of international schools around Europe. There are several UK universities taking part, and I met three of the representatives at the airport, all on the same flight. Thanks to Keele University for making all the arrangements.

I have been to Copenhagen several times before, but there is little that standout for me other than a visit to the Tuborg brewery when I was 16. It left a lasting impression on me – I don’t think I have drunk Tuborg beer since then.

Found a delightful restaurant near the hotel called Babette Guldsmeden – excellent food and service.

Looks good for the first school visit tomorrow
